Holomedicine for surgeons:
VSI-Virtual Surgery Intelligence

The holomedical application VSI has been designed
to support surgeons before and after surgery.

What is VSI?

VSI is an intelligent holomedical application. It presents previously-generated MRI, CT, and SPECT images 3-dimensionally in mixed reality glasses. A thorough anatomical image with all structures appears and can be positioned freely in the room. Pathologies and fractures can be localized faster and more precisely.

Surgery Planning

The physician can use the 3D images of his patient to plan
the intraoperative procedure. Important structures,
entrances, etc. can be highlighted and measured virtually.
The planning is stored and can be recalled during the
procedure for optimal anatomical orientation.

3D images superimposion

VSI recognizes the individual patient by identifying anatomical landmarks and then affixes the 3D planning exactly onto the patient’s body. The control is completely touch-free and works through speech and gestures. This function can be used for better orientation before and after the operation or briefly during it.

VSI functions

3D viewing of MRI/CT/SPECT images etc.

Virtual 3D surgery planning based on the original data

3D measurement and marking

Virtual movement, rotation, cutting and fixing of the 3D image in space

Visualization of fine tissue structures and fractures

Comparison by merging the 3D CT & MRI image with the patient

Your advantages

Improved  anatomical orientation
More precise  diagnosis of pathology
Clear localization of fractures
View bone and soft tissue structures from all angles
Future-proof through continuous upgrades
Faster and safer operation planning

Add-On: VSI Streamer

VSI Streamer Box displays the ultrasound, microscope, endoscope, and
laparoscope images along with other images virtually in the VSI. If required,
several views can be displayed simultaneously. More information here.
