Marienkrankenhaus introduced VSI

Marienkrankenhaus Hamburg introduces the VSI

On the day of the 6th of March 2018 the Catholic hospital “Marienkrankenhaus” in Hamburg has officially become a pioneer in the use of innovative medicine. Due to the purchase of the VSI, the Hospital has skyrocketed to the top of the world’s most innovative hospitals.

The Marienkrankenhaus has reached a new dimension of surgery with the acquisition of the Virtual Surgery Intelligence (VSI). It has already been in use since early 2018. Everything started with the Senior Physician for Otolaryngology, Head, Neck and Plastic Facial Surgery Dr. med. Hans-J. von Lücken and his colleague Dr. med. Kathrin of Usslar, both physicians at the Marienkrankenhaus. They have been involved in development as part of the Medical Advisory Board from the start. With the help of their vision and ideas for ENT, we have developed a hands-on package in less than a year. Finally the VSI is ready for practical use.

You can read the complete press release on the homepage of the Marienkrankenhaus in German (original) here or our English translation here.
